Is there an official test, and how is the mock test scored?
North Carolina does not publish the shape of its knowledge test, so this format is ours: 10 signs and signals + 30 rules of the road, 8 to pass signs and signals and 24 to pass rules of the road. North Carolina publishes only its road-sign exam, 9 of 12 signs, and an 80 percent mark on the knowledge exam. 40 questions in 2 parts — Signs and signals: 10 questions, 8 to pass; Rules of the road: 30 questions, 24 to pass.
