Questions
Common questions
Where do the questions come from?
From the public sources each exam is drawn from: the NCVEC amateur radio pools, each state's driver manual, 49 CFR for the CDL tests, the FAA handbooks and regulations, the USCIS civics questions, the OSHA standards, the Navigation Rules, 33 and 46 CFR, and FAA Order JO 7110.65.
How do the mock exams compare to the real test?
Where the rules state the size and pass mark of the real test, the mock exam uses them. Where they do not, the course page says that the mock exam is a practice format.
How much does it cost?
Part of every course is free: a slice of every topic and one short practice test a day. Full access is $5 a month for one course, or $20 a month for every course on the site.
