This course is for anyone who applies for, or holds, a notary public commission in New Mexico. The commissioning office is the New Mexico Secretary of State.
New Mexico requires an exam before a first commission. New Mexico's notary exam: 50 questions, 40 to pass. New Mexico publishes the question count and requires 80% to pass. The time limit is 60 minutes. The state requires an approved course before you apply.
