This course is for applicants for a Florida cosmetology license. Florida has two written examinations. The written theory examination has 65 questions in 90 minutes. The written clinical examination also has 65 questions in 90 minutes. Florida reports a scaled passing score of 75 for each examination. A scaled score is not a count of correct answers.
The Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation uses a testing vendor for the real examinations. Rules differ by state. This course has a limited Florida law portion and does not cover the full clinical examination.
