This course is for anyone who applies for, or holds, a notary public commission in Louisiana. The commissioning office is the Louisiana Secretary of State (Governor commissions).
Louisiana requires an exam before a first commission. Louisiana passes the notary exam at a scaled score of 70. A scaled score is not a count of correct answers, so this mock test asks for 21 of 30 (70%), our choice. Louisiana does not publish the question count; this mock test uses 30 questions, our choice. The time limit is 240 minutes. The notary exam is open book.
